Thorny Real Estate renting issue

Two people own a piece of property but don't live there. They have rented the property to Person X informally (no written lease but Person X does pay $ every month). Person X talks to one of the people who own the property about having a friend of his come and live with him at the property and gets consent. The other owner of the property does not give consent and wants the guest gone.

What happens? All 3 parties have rights to the property. My GUESS is that the guest can stay as the renter's guest unless he causes an issue indefinitely. The only way to end that would be to cancel the lease with a 30 day notice but even then if one party agrees to the lease and the other doesn't (which would be the case).....
